Volunteer
65% of the Nation's firefighters are volunteer
The Town of Sardinia is served by 100% volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel. The time given by these volunteers is invaluable to the community we serve. But the service provided does not go without value to the volunteer.
Training
Members are provided exciting skills that are applicable to everyday life. Volunteers have access to training in medical, fire prevention, technical rescue and safety, all free of charge.
Community
Connect with your community like never before! There is no better way to help your neighbors than to provide light on their darkest days. Join old friends and make new ones as a member!
Rewards
First responders are qualified to receive tax credits, stipends, scholarships, retirement benefits and discounts as a "thank you" for their service.
There's a Role for everyone
Not a fan of running into a burning building? We understand, but that shouldn't keep you from volunteering! We have roles for all, from fundraising to driving the trucks. We are always looking for volunteers to fill the duties of:

We Know that Your Time is Valuable
Volunteers provide their service when they are able to. Family, school and career always come first. Members are required to provide 50 hours of service per year. There are plenty of ways to make the most of that time!
Our leadership is committed to providing high quality experiences and opportunities in exchange for your time & effort. The goal is to send volunteers home safe, with the feeling that they made a difference and learned something along the way.
